Mamottaro was developed with support from local fire departments specifically for firefighting and disaster response exercises.
After two years of development, it combines a training-resistant resin body with a human-like range of motion and realistic weight distribution.
Its durable construction and repairable, adjustable design have been highly regarded by training professionals.
Completed after two years of development with guidance from the advanced rescue team at Otsu Central Fire Station and Otsu North Fire Station in Shiga, Japan.
Two Mamottaro mannequins were used in practical training at the 2018 International Rescue Team Seminar.
